Gardai Issue Warning On Increase Of Gay Gangs In City
Mill Street Garda Station has warned the inhabitants of Galway to be on the look out for roaming gangs of gay youths that are picking on ‘straight kids’, ‘mocking the fashion sense of local thugs’, and, ‘attempting to gayify local auldones’.
Inspector Mick Burke issued the warning following an incident in Eyre Square this morning in which a local youth’s clothing was mocked and he was slapped open handed by one of the culprits and called a ‘straighter’.
‘This is no laughing matter’ stated Burke, while attempting not to smile, ‘we must take these allegations seriously’ he said while wearing an awful set of shoes and no product in his hair.
Local busybody and churchgoer Peggy Crag told Galway Daily News of one incident “they came at me below at mass. They had a bag of gay and didn’t they take out some gay and put it on the end of a shtick and chase me down the road. Lord have mercy on us all”.
